What a diverse lineup of events we had at the Alliance Française of Houston those last 4 weeks, showcasing the rich tapestry of French-speaking cultures :
an exquisite blind tasting of French chocolate from French master chocolatiers, called MOF "Meilleurs Ouvriers de France"
a literary encounter with Alain Mabanckou, a famous French-Congolese author
a divine performance of Dominique McCormick, soprano and her pianist Keith Weber, of Martial Caillebotte's masterpieces
a great jazz performance, led by the talented David Parker, in our remodeled backyard
la Dictée de la Francophonie, partnering with Houston Accueil, where attendees took the challenge of this very traditional French exercice
