Ouverture de la Francophonie 2025

What a pleasure and honor it was to host the launch of the "French Cultures Festival 2025" at the Alliance Française de Houston, organized by the great team at Villa Albertine, the French Institute for Culture and Education and Consulate of France in Houston (well done & thank you Bettina Gardelles & Juliette Richoux)!

We had the privilege of hearing from Paul Rondin, Director of Cité internationale de la langue française who shared his inspiring vision and the incredible work already underway in Villers-Cotterêts.

Our evening continued with a fascinating panel discussion featuring the powerful voices of artists Mélissa Laveaux and Bruce Sunpie Barnes, alongside journalist Bertrand Dicale moderated by @Dr. Amanda Vredenburg.

And to top it all off, what better way to launch the Month of Francophonie than with a beautiful concert from Mélissa and Bruce!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this special night possible including ENGIE North America Inc. (Audrey Robat)!

Here's to a month of celebrating the richness and diversity of Francophone cultures across the world!
