Cancellation Policy

Cancellation and absence policy for group classes: - Remember that the Alliance is a non-profit organization. Once you have begun a class, we are unable to offer refunds. - Group enrollment is 4 students. Until the minimum enrollment is met, registration is considered pending and students will be offered another class or the option of continuing as a semi-private class. Due to the nature of group classes, we are unable to offer discounts for absences. The reason that group classes are less expensive than private lessons is that the tuition is based on a full class of 4-10 students. Therefore students must pay the full tuition, even though they may miss a class. This policy will allow us to offer the best prices possible, and at the same time adequately reward our quality team of teachers. Please note: when class enrollment drops to 2- 3 students, we will make every effort to continue the class by merging it with another class at that level or the class may be converted to a semi-private class. If you must be absent, your teacher will be happy to let you know what material was (or will be) covered in class during your absence. In cases of multiple absences, it may be necessary to register for a private lesson. Private classes, semi-private classes and French at Your Desk: - Students whose work or travel schedule does not allow regular attendance are encouraged to consider private lessons. These classes offer more flexibility and open scheduling. - Classes may be canceled with no penalty, provided the student gives notification at least 24 hours in advance. Without this 24-hour notice, the student will be charged for 1 hour. Parking: Do not park on the north side of the 400 block of Lovett BLVD after 6:00 PM.
