Requirements:

• Native in French, with a deep understanding of French grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
  
• Teaching experience or relevant language instruction qualifications preferred.
  
• Enthusiastic, patient, and approachable demeanor, inspiring a love for language learning in students.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with students, colleagues, and the community.
  
• Must have a US work visa.

Volunteers for Our Summer Camp

The Alliance Française is currently seeking reliable volunteers to assist with our Summer Camp 2026 program (June–July–August) for children ages 3 to 12.

This volunteer position requires:

• Full-day availability
  
• Commitment for the full week (Monday to Friday) - See here the details

Volunteers will support staff and instructors with daily camp activities, including classroom assistance, supervision during transitions and breaks, preparation of materials, and general organization.

In exchange for their time and commitment, volunteers may receive French class credits or free French group classes(depending on availability).

Volunteers for Events

If you are interested in helping the Alliance Française development, we regularly seek volunteers for cultural events.

We would contact you few weeks before the event to ask you if you are available. French speakers, French learners or with no French at all, everybody is welcome to volunteer !

Volunteer Teaching Assistant – Saturday Morning Children’s Classes

Join our team as a Volunteer Teaching Assistant!

The Alliance Française is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic volunteer to assist our French teachers on Saturday mornings (8:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.).

You will help support children’s French classes by:

• Assisting the teacher with classroom activities
  
• Helping prepare and organize materials
  
• Guiding students during games, crafts, and learning exercises
  
• Creating a positive and engaging learning environment
  

This is a great opportunity to gain experience in language education, work with children, and be part of a vibrant French cultural community.
