Alliance Française de Houston offers an extensive array of cultural programs exploring art, language, architecture, cuisine, music, theatre, travel, and film. Whether you are interested in learning the French language or exploring different aspects of French culture, the Alliance provides enriching opportunities and experiences.

Exclusive Discounts

Membership provides discounts on classes and some workshops. It also grants you discounts (or sometimes free admission) to events hosted by the Alliance, including art openings, French film premieres, and other cultural activities. These events offer unique opportunities to immerse yourself in French culture and meet like-minded individuals.

Free in-person Movie night each month.

Free "Yoga en Français" class

Free access to our Yoga class on Fridays from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM (no classes in the summer)

Free access to our "Théâtre en français" workshop, Tuesdays from 7:00 PM -9:00 PM (no class in the summer)

Annual Membership

Access to a Vast Library

Members get to explore a wide range of French literary works, reference materials, and more in our on-site library. The library is an invaluable resource for those seeking to expand their knowledge of French literature and culture.

Free Access to Culturetheque

One of the most valuable benefits of membership is free access to Culturetheque, an online platform that provides an almost limitless collection of French books, films, learning materials, and magazines. This resource allows you to dive deep into French culture and language, enhancing your understanding and appreciation.

Member Appreciation Event

We host an annual “Member Appreciation Event” to thank our members for joining our community and to recognize our Benefactor-level members. Watch for the date and details in the newsletters. 

Become a Benefactor

Level member and join a distinguished group of supporters who are passionate about advancing our mission. Benefactor members enjoy all the exclusive benefits available to our membership community, plus the unique opportunity to make a lasting impact through philanthropic support. We offer three levels of membership at the Benefactor level: $300 Contributor, $500 Supporter, $1,000 Distinguished Benefactor. Each year, we recognize members at the Benefactorlevel in our Annual Impact Report, published on our website. Donors may choose to be listed anonymously, ensuring privacy while celebrating their commitment Alliance Française de Houston.
