The Atelier Théâtre of the Alliance Française de Houston presents Éden Cinéma, a one-act play by Marguerite Duras.
"Quelque part en Indochine, sous un soleil qui brûle et une pluie qui noie, une famille s'accroche à une terre ingrate et à des rêves
impossibles. Marguerite Duras nous invite dans un monde où la beauté et la cruauté se confondent, où l'on rit de ce qui se brise, où l'on
chante de ce que l'on ne peut pas dire."
Performed by students of French, this production explores themes of memory, obsession, and the fragile boundaries between
love and survival. Through a poetic and visual approach, the piece reflects on the risks of pursuing impossible dreams and the intensity of
familial bonds.

Join us for a vibrant evening of live music, community, and celebration as Alliance Française de Houston hosts its very first Fête
de la Musique!
We are excited to bring this tradition to Houston with an evening featuring a variety of live performances in an intimate and lively
setting. The highlight of the night will be a performance by the Greg Petito Trio (vocals, guitar, saxophone), offering a
dynamic mix of jazz, popular music, and contemporary sounds.
Guests will also be able to enjoy a bar with wine and beverages available for purchase, making it the perfect setting to
relax, connect, and celebrate the start of summer through music.
