Volunteer Program

Volunteering at the Alliance Française of Houston is a wonderful way to support the Francophone community while connecting with fellow Francophiles who share your passion for French language and culture.

Volunteer opportunities may include:

• Assisting at cultural events
• Supporting our annual fundraising gala
• Proctoring exams
• Organizing the library
• Serving as a teacher assistant in children’s classes
• Assisting with our children’s workshops and activities
• Supporting our Summer Camp staff to help inspire the next generation of Francophiles

Volunteer Point System

In addition to exploring their passion for French culture, volunteers can earn rewards through our point system, including complimentary classes and membership benefits.

All volunteer hours are tracked, and each hour equals one point.

Complimentary Benefits

Volunteers may redeem points for the following:

• 1 general language course = 40 points
• 1-year membership = 20 points

Please note that a minimum of four paying students must be enrolled in a class before volunteers may register using points.
