The TEF (Test d’Évaluation de Français) is an official French language proficiency test designed to assess the level of French of non-native speakers.
Recognized internationally, the TEF is commonly used for immigration procedures, French citizenship and residency applications, academic purposes, and professional certification. The test evaluates key language skills, including listening comprehension, reading comprehension, written expression, and oral expression, depending on the selected test version.
All TEF exams are computer-based, ensuring a standardized, secure, and efficient testing experience.
The TEF is developed and administered by the Paris Île-de-France Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI Paris Île-de-France), a leading public institution that guarantees the quality, reliability, and official recognition of the exam worldwide.
Several versions of the TEF are available, such as TEF Canada, TEF Québec, TEF IRN (Integration, Residency and Nationality), and TEF Études, each adapted to specific administrative or academic requirements.
As an official TEF testing center, we provide candidates with a professional, secure, and computer-equipped testing environment that meets the strict standards set by the CCI Paris Île-de-France.
