As part of our cultural programming and the celebration of the Month of Francophonie, Alliance Française
de Houston continues its exploration of French luxury craftsmanship through a series of thoughtfully curated programs highlighting the
richness of French savoir-faire and its global cultural resonance.
This initiative invites audiences to discover the artistry, heritage, and human stories behind exceptional creations—bridging traditional craftsmanship with contemporary perspectives, and connecting French cultural excellence with Houston’s diverse and culturally engaged community.
On April 9, 2026, join French jeweler, gemologist, and explorer Raphaël Griffon for an exclusive presentation and documentary screening exploring the journey of gold—from its extraction in the Amazonian forests of French Guiana to its transformation within a French atelier.
Blending craftsmanship, exploration, and Francophone perspectives, this event offers a unique insight into the origins of precious materials and the artistry behind exceptional jewelry.
