Eden Cinema – A One-Act Play by Marguerite Duras

The Atelier Théâtre of the Alliance Française de Houston presents Éden Cinéma, a one-act play by Marguerite Duras.

Marguerite Duras nous invite dans un monde où la beauté et la cruauté se confondent, où l'on rit de ce qui se brise, où l'on chante de ce que l'on ne peut pas dire."

Performed by students of French, this production explores themes of memory, obsession, and the fragile boundaries between love and survival. Through a poetic and visual approach, the piece reflects on the risks of pursuing impossible dreams and the intensity of familial bonds.
