Join us for the Kick-Off Event of the French Cultures Festival in Houston
The Alliance Française de Houston and Villa Albertine Houston are delighted to invite you to the opening event of the French Cultures Festival, a celebration of the richness and diversity of Francophone cultures from around the world.
This special evening will highlight the vibrant Haitian culture, bringing together international and local voices for an engaging panel discussion titled “Haïti au carrefour des cultures : créoles, francophones, anglophones” (“Haiti at the Crossroads of Cultures: Creole, Francophone, and Anglophone”). We are honored to welcome renowned Haitian actor and author Jimmy Jean-Louis, alongside distinguished panelists Linsey Sainte-Claire, professor at Rice University, and Grégory Jean, analyst-writer at the Representation of the OIF for the Americas.
Following the panel, guests are invited to continue the celebration with music, cultural exchange, and more, creating a convivial space to connect and celebrate the many cultures that shape the Francophone world.
This event is co-organized by Villa Albertine Houston and the Alliance Française de Houston, with the generous support of numerous partners and organizations committed to promoting cultural dialogue and Francophone diversity.
We warmly invite you to join us for this festive evening as we launch the French Cultures Festival in Houston.
