Get ready for two unforgettable weeks in the heart of Paris, where language learning meets cultural adventure. This immersive program at the world‑renowned Alliance Française de Paris blends morning classes with afternoons and evenings filled with discovery, flavor, and pure Parisian magic.

Learn French in the Morning

From 9:00am to 1:00pm, you’ll sharpen your French skills in dynamic, interactive classes led by expert instructors. Whether you’re perfecting your grammar or gaining confidence in conversation, you’ll feel your French come alive in real time as you step out into the city each day. Total instruction hours: 40 hours per week. 

Explore Paris in the Afternoon & Evening

Every day brings a new adventure. This program includes five cultural activities per week, one dinner at a restaurant per week, and one excursion on Saturday. The program also includes two Navigo passes per week to take the metro and move freely throughout Paris. Activities include:

• Wandering the winding, artistic streets of Montmartre on a guided tour.
• A cruise on the Seine River with guided descriptions of the great city of Paris on a bateau mouche.
• Visiting the Arc de Triomphe and strolling through the famous Champs Élysées for some shopping.
• Stepping inside the breathtaking Opéra Garnier, a jewel of Parisian architecture.
• An excursion to Giverny to see the gardens depicted by Claude Monet.
• Traveling back in time during a full visit to the Palace of Versailles.
• Savoring the best of French gastronomy with cheese and pastry tastings that will make your taste buds sing.
• A guided tour of the famous Île de la Cité.
• A guided tour of the Musée d'Orsay to explore Impressionist works of art. 
• A surprise visit.

This is Paris as it’s meant to be experienced — through its history, its beauty, and its flavors.

Live Like a Parisian - (studio and families located in Paris)

Choose the lodging option that fits your style:

• Individual package with no lodging included: flexible option. Your placement test, registration fees, materials, courses, and cultural activities are included. You are responsible for your own accommodation: $2,880.00
• Stay with a family individual (only breakfast included): immersion option. You will stay with a family and immerse yourself in the experience. Courses and activities included: $3,790.00
• Stay with a family individual (breakfast and dinner included): immersion option. You will stay with a family and immerse yourself in the experience. Courses and activities included: $4,050.00
• Share a room at the FIAP: 15 minutes walking distance from the AF Paris. This gives you the option to stay at a studio. Please note you will be sharing the room with someone else. Courses and activities included: $4,050.00
• Individual stay at the FIAP: 15 minutes walking distance from the AF Paris. This gives you the option to stay at a studio. Courses and activities included: $4,490.00

Whichever you choose, you’ll have a comfortable home base in one of the world’s most inspiring cities.

Refund and cancellation policy

• A refund request must be made in writing by sending it to the Immersion programs coordinator at programs@alliancehouston.org - the request must be made within the refund periods stated below :
• A full refund will be issued for requests sent before May 27, 2026.
• A $1,500.00 administrative fee will be applied to refunds requested between May 27 and July 15, 2026.
• No refunds will be issued after July 15, 2026.
