Join Monarch Chamber Players for Paris and Beyond, an engaging concert exploring how French musical style—known for its elegance, color, and spirit of experimentation—has influenced composers across Europe and the Americas. From the shimmering impressionism of Debussy to the vibrant rhythms of Piazzolla, Bartók, and Gershwin, this program traces how French musical ideas traveled across borders, inspiring diverse voices and dynamic new sounds.

About Monarch Chamber Players:
Monarch Chamber Players is a vibrant group of Houston-based professional musicians bringing classical music beyond the concert hall and into
the heart of our communities. Founded in October 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Monarch is a member of the Texas Touring Roster
and currently presents over 50 concerts annually. The ensemble has brought classical music to more than 25 Houston neighborhoods, performing
in a variety of venues including parks, churches, farms, gas stations, traditional indoor venues, and front porches.
Composed of musicians who perform around the world with top professional orchestras and who hold degrees from the country’s most prestigious conservatories, Monarch offers flexible ensemble configurations from its core roster of winds, strings, harp, and percussion.
