On Thursday, April 2, 2026, the Alliance Française de Houston hosted an intimate and indulgent Tour de France Cheese & Wine Tasting — a guided culinary journey through the regions and traditions of France.
Led by cheese expert Randolph Daniels-Kolin of A Cheese Affair, guests explored eight iconic French cheeses — Langres, Brie, Fourme d'Ambert, Comté, Beaufort d'Été, Mimolette, Ossau Iraty, and a classic goat cheese from the Loire Valley — each perfectly paired with wine. From creamy to bold to nutty, the evening was as educational as it was delicious, with every bite and sip accompanied by the stories, regions, and traditions behind each selection.
