One year later, we raise a glass to Steve with his favorite drink: rosé.

Join us for an elegant evening at the iconic La Colombe d’Or Hotel as the Alliance Française de Houston comes together to remember and celebrate the life and legacy of Steve Zimmerman. A longtime friend and leader of the Alliance Française,

Steve was passionate about French culture, art, friendship, and the art de vivre. This special evening brings together members, friends, Francophiles, and supporters of the Alliance to celebrate the community he helped strengthen and the values he cared so deeply about. Guests will enjoy a French-inspired dinner buffet, a complimentary glass of Château de Berne rosé, specialty cash bars, and an intimate evening of conversation, connection, and celebration. 

The evening will feature a special tribute honoring Steve’s legacy and his many years of leadership as President of the Alliance Française de Houston. In recognition of his extraordinary dedication to the promotion of French language and Francophone culture, the Alliance Française de Houston will present a commemorative medal and raise a toast in his honor. And because rosé was Steve’s favorite drink, we will raise a glass of Château de Berne in his memory, a fitting way to celebrate the man who believed in the importance of culture, friendship, and bringing people together.

Proceeds from the evening will support the Alliance Française de Houston’s mission to promote French language and Francophone culture in Houston, continuing the work and cultural mission that Steve was so deeply committed to throughout his years with the Alliance. By joining us, you are not only raising a glass in his memory, but also helping carry that legacy forward for future generations.
