Bastille Day 2025

Jul 13 '25 // Past Event Highlights

On July 13, 2025, over 2,000 guests (Francophones, Francophiles, French and friends of France) came together at our Alliance Française de Houston to celebrate the values of the French Republic: Liberty, Equality, Fraternity.

In partnership with the Consulate General of France in Houston, we proudly hosted a joyful, inclusive celebration, one that reflected the vibrant, multicultural spirit of Houston and the enduring ties between France, Texas and the United States.

From stirring national anthems, to a pétanque tournament under the Texas sun, to cotton candy, crêpes, line dancing and of course French wines and cocktails, the day was pure joie de vivre.

We were honored to welcome elected officials, cultural leaders, and a community that believes in freedom, friendship, and shared values. And when the dance floor came alive with DJ Barbara Butch and the Liberty on the Dance Floor concert, capped off by a spectacular drone show, it was clear: this was more than an event. It was a celebration of who we are, together as a community!

Vive la République! Vive la France ! Vive la Francophonie !
