The kick-off event of the French Cultures Festival was a huge success!

The event featured a captivating panel discussion on Creole in music with Mélissa Laveaux, Bruce "Sunpie" Barnes, and Bertrand Dicale. The evening ended on a high note with enchanting concerts in the courtyard of the Alliance Française de Houston.

Special thanks to the Cité Internationale de la Langue Française, who traveled from France for the event!

We were delighted to welcome over 200 guests—thank you all for joining us! A heartfelt thank you to Haiti Heroes United 1804 for being part of the event and to Lebanon Times Magazine for covering it live. We also want to thank Amanda Vredenburgh for moderating the panel discussion.

Shoutout to Creole Kitchen HTX for the delicious Creole food
