On May 20^th, 2026, we had the honor of celebrating a major milestone for the Alliance Française de Houston: the inauguration of our new expansion. 
 
For more than 100 years, the Alliance Française de Houston has been dedicated to promoting the French language and Francophone cultures. Today, we welcome more than 2,500 students each year, children and adults alike, and have experienced remarkable growth over the past two years. 
 
This expansion became essential in order to meet increasing demand. Thanks to this newly renovated building, located within our current premises, we are adding: 
• two new classrooms, 
• a room fully dedicated to official examinations, 
• and new office spaces to support the growth of our team, which has more than doubled over the past two years. 
 
This project would not have been possible without the invaluable support of our patrons, sponsors, Board members, as well as our students and teachers. 
 
A special thank you to artist Sébastien Boileau for designing this beautiful façade. 
 
We are proud to continue this journey and to keep promoting the French language and Francophone cultures in Houston under the best possible conditions. 
 
This new chapter is only just beginning.
