Notre Dame Conference

It was an absolute pleasure to welcome renowned French archaeologist Christophe Besnier, Research Director at the National Institute for Preventive Archaeological Research (Inrap), to Texas as part of a conference tour across New Orleans, Houston, and Dallas.

We are deeply grateful to all attendees for their curiosity and thoughtful engagement, as well as to our volunteers whose dedication made this tour possible.

This project came to life thanks to the collaboration of many partners across cities:
Alliance Française de La Nouvelle-Orléans (Alan Nobili and Raymond Price),
Alliance Française of Dallas (Alexandre Rossignol and Angel Jimenez), and in Houston, La Colombe d’Or Hotel, where Christine Bayol and Mike Driskill offered an exceptional welcome to Christophe Besnier at both the hotel and Tonight & Tomorrow.

We also wish to acknowledge Juan Martinez, Programs Coordinator at the Alliance Française de Houston, whose excellent interpretation throughout the tour helped make these conferences accessible and impactful for all audiences.
