About the Artist:

Sébastien "Mr. D1989" Boileau is a French-American urban artist based in Houston who has been a prominent figure in the street art movement since 1989. Combining classic graffiti roots with fine art techniques, he creates striking, large-scale murals and contemporary works that blend pop art, realism, and abstract expressionism. He is widely recognized for painting "Preservons La Creation," one of the largest murals in the American Southwest, and for his transformative public art projects across the globe.
