Join us for a special screening of Céline Sciamma's acclaimed film Bande de Filles (Girlhood), presented in partnership with the University of Houston French Department. Students from Professor Amanda Vredenburgh's "Women in French Cinema" course will introduce the film in French and English, followed by a screening (French with English subtitles) and student-led discussion. This event offers French students a unique opportunity to showcase their learning and engage with Houston's French and Francophone community.
